Insider guide to Budapest

As the capital city of Hungary, Budapest is filled with plenty of green parks, museums, and a lovely nightlife that is just as crazy as most other European cities. Due to the fact that it has plenty to offer, friendly locals, and monuments that will take most visitors’ breathe away, the city is sometimes called the ‘Little Paris of Central Europe.’

While in Budapest, if you have the time, make sure to see the State Opera House and maybe even an opera, or at least stop into one of the many concert halls in the area to see classical or folklore musical performances. You will also want to make sure to walk through Buda Hill Labyrinth which are hot water springs that were turned into a raid shelter and a military hospital during WWII and is quite impressive.

In the evenings you will want to try out the nightclubs or with children visit the City Park, but before it gets too late make sure to head downtown and check out the many boutiques as well as the market stands and outside entertainment that lines most city corners as well as the larger bridges that encase the city.
