Things to see and do when visiting Liverpool in the United Kigdom.
Liverpool is a vibrant city in the North of England, celebrated for its rich culture and vibrant nightlife. If you look hard enough you can almost see Dublin across the water, a frequent route for passengers across the world over the past few centuries. The one thing that comes to mind when you think of Liverpool is the Beatles.
However, Liverpool is a great producer of entertainers with stars such as the Zutons, Jimmy Tarbuck and actors such as David Morissey. Liverpool has always been a city of entertainment, with many goods and travellers passing through its ports ever since the industrial revolution. The city never experienced much manufacturing, however, it has benefited drastically from those that pass through it. Liverpool was crowned European City of Culture in 2008 thus acknowledging the vibrant culture on offer here.
