KLM has come up with a great travel competition, giving you the chance of winning two free flights by following them on twitter and having the closest guess as to where the daily Secret Cities picture is located.
From now until April 24, KLM’s twitter followers have a chance of winning 2 flight tickets every week. Winning participants of the contest then have the choice of 5 destinations from that week’s Secret Cities. @KLM are gaining followers quickly, so now is the chance to get involved as to be in with a chance of winning trips to a number of great destinations such as Hong Kong (Monday’s secret city).
I have wanted to get back to Hong Kong for a quite while, so that is first on my wish list should I win the prize this week. Victoria Peak for one provides one of the most of breath taking views anywhere and the Wong Tai Sin Temple offers some of the best tofu dishes I’ve had in Asia.
To be in with a chance of winning, here is what you need to do:
- Follow KLM on Twitter
- Follow their daily tweets close to 4pm and have a guess at the city in the picture
- Pinpoint the exact location (as close as you can) on the map with a flag via google maps and submit your answer
- The winner will be announced on the Monday of each week
- The location of the previous day shall be revealed one day later on the Secret Cities website
- Your week’s best score is what matters, so play everyday to really improve your chances of winning
This is a really fun and engaging competition that gets your thinking hat on. Unfortunately my guess today was over 1797.4 Km away, but hopefully tomorrow I will have a bit more luck. Guess I’ve just wanted to visit Buenos Aires for quite a while and wishful thinking unfortunately got the better of me! Look forward to discovering tomorrow where today’s secret city is located.
