Fingers crossed for Helsinki

Radisson Blue Quiz

Radisson Blu hotels are currently running a competition with a range of prizes for those who take part in their geography and Christmas quiz. There is a weekly prize draw of a weekend stay for two people at one of their Radisson Blu hotels across Hamburg, Madrid, Berlin, Milan and Helsinki. A nice choice of destinations for a little weekend get away.

To enter the Radisson Blue Quiz all you have to do is answer three questions correctly on Radisson Blu hotels and then you are in with a chance of winning a weekend stay or a gift card. You are free to keep trying and testing your wits in the quiz even if you are not lucky after the first couple of tries. In addition to the draw, you get to spin the wheel of fortune for an on the spot prize of a gift card up to the value of 100 Euros.

In order to enter you must be at least 18 years of age and living in the European Union or European Economic Area to enter. Unfortunately, this excludes entrants from Sweden.

Radisson are well known in the industry for providing great quality luxury hotels and I once stayed in one of their hotels in Mauritius near the town of Grand Bay and had a fantastic time there. However, I have never stayed in one of their Blu hotels and I would be very curious to see how their range of Blu hotels differ to their other ranges.

Helsinki is a place that has been on my wish list for quite a while now. So if I could pick a city to visit out of the ones available in the prize draw, it would have to be the capital of Finland without a doubt. I have heard from fellow travellers that it is an exciting and dynamic city surrounded by water and a rugged coastline making it a unique Nordic experience. Having recently returned from a trip to Stockholm, I am really eager to explore more of what Finland and the Nordic countries have to offer. One thing I really noticed in Stockholm was how friendly and relaxed the people were. This a factor which really enhances your cultural experience by allowing you to connect with the local people and to get a feel for the local culture and way of a life.

So fingers crossed and good luck to those of you taking part.
