36 Hours in Perth

Perth has changed quite a bit over the last few years making the Western Australia city one that you should consider checking out if you are looking for an alternative holiday away this winter. With a population that is now almost two million, the country town is now an active city with plenty to offer its guests at every turn and at pretty much every hour of the day.

To start with, you should consider spending at least one day on the Swan Valley Wine Cruise because not only will you get to see some of the most beautiful scenic views that the city and its outlaying land has to offer, but you will get to taste some of the best wines in Australia without worrying about driving or finding additional forms of entertainment.

The city centre is also a great way to spend the day, or at least an afternoon, as you can easily travel the area by foot and you will find plenty of chain retailers and independent shops to make wondering around the area well worth your time. Located near the town centre is also the museum and art gallery both of which are worth a few hours.

Once evening falls there are plenty of restaurants where you can enjoy fine dining or for those with more ambitious plans in mind you can also find a fine selection of nightclubs and bars that will allow you spend the night out and get a taste of the local flavour.
