Finding Plage de Saleccia in Corsica without a car

The Plage de Seleccia beach and campsite in Corsica is often referred to as paradise by the locals, given the fact that it really is unspoiled and will instantly take your breath away. However, one of the reasons for this is that you cannot reach the area with a car making it a challenge to get in, but one that will pay off if you take it as the lack of cars has kept the area rich with beauty.

In order to get to the Plage de Seleccia one of the most popular routes is to drive over to San Florent where you can park in a large free car park by the town’s cathedral. From here you can book three tickets for the Popeye Company boat trips and take the ferry ride over to Lotu beach. The trek does not end here however as you must leave the crowded beach front behind and begin a 45 minute trek towards Plage de Saleccia. You will have to follow a windy dirt road through some hills and past a few beaches but it is well worth it when you get there.
