Creative innovation located in London’s Elephant & Castle

Vice and Tiger beer have teamed up to bring the public three new short film documentaries on the creation of art as part of the ongoing Know The Not Known campaign that explores the creation of art in an attempt to define curiosity. The three part video set known as ‘The Found Series’ will debut on the Vice VBS TV channel as well as the Tiger YouTube channel and takes a close look at the formation of art through the eyes of its creators. Each video episode will take an in-depth look at the people working on creative art behind the scenes and the process of taking empty space and turning it into a creative expression of art.

The second video in the series, entitled Episode 2: Off Modern, features the members of the open space installation group ‘Off Modern.’  It starts with the group meeting up outside of what passes for their office, a true testament of the fact that beauty is sometimes in the eye of the beholder as their office space is just one example of the creative brilliance that this group is capable of when they put their minds to something.

It is also a great starting point for the video given the fact that it allows the camera to pan around at the photos and models of some of the events that Off Modern have put together in the past. After a short interview that includes the team explaining their actual artwork to viewers and some of the very innovative events they have participated in the past, viewers are whisked away to Corsica studios located in Elephant & Castle which is considered the group’s home base for their Wood Mill event.

The film footage put together by Vice and Tiger beer is entertaining to watch as it is shot to resemble the viewpoint of a fly on the wall so that you get a real feel for the frenzy and activity of Off Modern as they prepare for the Wood Mill event and with footage spliced in between that shows previous events from the group you get a real taste of what is coming up in just a few minutes.
